Angela creates watercolor paintings of people and things that catch her interest. She mostly creates with watercolor but jumps at the chance to create with oil and wax pastels, gouache, ink, and colored pencils. Angela’s childhood in the South, comfort food, vintage knick-knacks, children’s books, movies, music, and hockey inspire her art. She finds beauty in people and moments seen as commonplace and unworthy of regard. Angela is a member of the Quabbin Art Association and frequently exhibits. Her art is in the homes of private collectors as well as The West Hartford Library Foundation. She works in her home studio with her velcro cat.
